Saarah Amuthan

Dr. Saarah Amuthan is a highly accomplished dentist, licensed to practice in Canada, the United States, and Europe. Raised in downtown Toronto, she pursued her dental education at Poznan University of Medical Sciences in Europe, earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2012. Dr. Saarah then gained valuable experience practicing dentistry in Oslo, Norway.

Driven by her passion for dental research, Dr. Saarah embarked on a new journey at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) as a Clinical Research Scholar. During her time at UCLA, she collaborated with global companies like Colgate® and made significant contributions to research on salivary biomarkers for periodontal diseases and oral cancer. Her dedication to expanding her knowledge led her to pursue a second doctorate degree from the University of Minnesota.

Dr. Saarah's extensive dental journey has equipped her with a wealth of knowledge and a deep commitment to innovative dentistry. She places great importance on the comfort, ease, and comprehensive care of her patients, fostering strong connections through her positive attitude and gentle demeanor.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Saarah indulges in her love for travel, exploring different cultures and cuisines. As a Lead Dentist at City Dental, she feels privileged to practice in her hometown of Toronto. Driven by her dedication to patient care, Dr. Saarah is excited to work with her patients, customizing treatment plans to help them achieve a healthy and beautiful smile.
