David Walt

Dr. Walt is an accomplished orthodontist in Vaughan who has achieved great success in his field. He obtained his dental (DDS) degree from the University of Western Ontario, graduating at the top of his class and earning the prestigious Gold Medal. With numerous awards recognizing his scholastic and clinical achievements, leadership, and character, Dr. Walt's dedication to excellence is evident.

Continuing his education, Dr. Walt completed his orthodontic training at the University of Colorado, where he earned both his Specialty Certificate and Master of Science Degree. During his residency, he was honored with the Rocky Mountain Orthodontics Scholarship for his exceptional overall performance.

In 2013, Dr. Walt established Walt Orthodontics and became determined to integrate traditional orthodontic education with digital advancements to enhance clinical outcomes and improve the patient experience. His expertise and contributions to the field have earned him significant roles, including serving as a Faculty Member, Key Opinion Leader, and Advisory Board Member for Align Technology. In these positions, he travels worldwide to educate other orthodontists about Invisalign. Dr. Walt's involvement in digital orthodontics gained further recognition when he became the first orthodontist in Canada to utilize custom LightForce braces. Additionally, he acts as an Orthodontic Coach/Mentor, sharing his knowledge and expertise with other orthodontists seeking to enhance their understanding of digital orthodontics.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Walt is a passionate fan of the Blue Jays baseball team and enjoys working out in his spare time.
