Tony Kang

Dr. Kang is an experienced dentist in Richmond Hill, with a diverse background and extensive expertise in various aspects of dentistry. He completed both his undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Manitoba, earning a B.Sc. degree in 1980 and a D.M.D. degree in 1984.

During his time in dental school, Dr. Kang gained valuable experience by providing dental care in native communities in Northern Manitoba. This opportunity allowed him to develop a strong foundation in oral surgery and pedodontics. Additionally, he worked as a Psychiatric Nurses Aide for five summers, further enhancing his patient care skills.

After graduation, Dr. Kang joined a busy practice in Red Deer, Alberta, where he continued to expand his knowledge through extensive continuing education courses at the University of Alberta and in Vancouver, B.C. He also practiced dental surgery at Inuvik General Hospital and general dentistry in Inuvik, N.W.T. for two weeks annually, while maintaining his practice in Red Deer and Calgary.

Throughout his career, Dr. Kang has practiced dentistry in various cities across Canada, including Winnipeg, Manitoba, London, Ontario, and Newmarket, Ontario. In 1989, he settled in Toronto after marrying a Toronto native and has been serving the community ever since.

Dr. Kang's areas of expertise encompass all aspects of dentistry, including oral surgery, implant dentistry, dentures, cosmetic dentistry, and pediatric dentistry. He maintains good standing as a member of the Ontario Dental Association (ODA).
