Maria Colaiacovo

Dr. Maria Colaiacovo is an accomplished dentist in Vaughan with a strong educational background. She completed her Bachelor of Science at Queen’s University and then pursued her dental studies at The University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry, where she graduated with Honours. Dr. Colaiacovo excelled in restorative and preventive dentistry during her time at the university.

To further enhance her expertise in dental medicine, Dr. Colaiacovo completed a hospital dental residency program at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto. This experience provided her with valuable skills in treating medically compromised and special needs patients. She gained proficiency in managing severe dental infections, performing oral-surgical procedures, and handling dental trauma.

Dr. Colaiacovo maintains her hospital privileges as a part-time dentist at Mount Sinai Hospital and serves as the Co-Director of the Hospital Dental Residency Program. She also contributes to the education of dental students at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto, through teaching and lectures. Additionally, she actively participates in continuing dental education courses to stay updated on the latest advancements in the field.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Colaiacovo is a dedicated mother of three children, and she takes pride in being a hockey and dance mom. She enjoys staying active with workouts at the gym and playing volleyball. Dr. Colaiacovo is committed to providing her patients with a comfortable and fulfilling dental experience, utilizing her expertise and passion for dentistry.
