Ira Kirshen

Dr. Ira Kirshen is a highly accomplished dentist with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto Dental Faculty, where he graduated cum laude and received recognition for his work in removable prosthodontics. He runs a general private practice in Richmond Hill, Ontario and has served as a staff dentist at York Central Hospital for over 26 years, including a seven-year tenure as Chief of Dentistry. Dr. Kirshen has made significant contributions to the dental community, having served as the president of the York Region Dental Society and as a board member and president of the Chai-Tikvah Foundation and York South Association for Community Living. He has also held leadership positions within the Ontario Dental Association, including serving as president from 2009 to 2010. Dr. Kirshen is affiliated with various professional organizations such as the Alpha Omega Dental fraternity, Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association, and Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. He is a member of esteemed honor societies including the Pierre Fauchard Academy, American College of Dentists, and International College of Dentists.
