Emily Chen

Dr. Emily Chen is a dedicated pediatric dentist who is passionate about making a positive impact on children's oral health. She believes in building trusting relationships with her patients and their families to provide them with a heartwarming dental home. Dr. Chen graduated with high distinction from the University of Toronto and furthered her dental education at the University of Pennsylvania's School of Dental Medicine. During her time in Philadelphia, she volunteered at community centers and took on leadership roles in school organizations to provide dental care to underserved populations. Driven by her love for treating children, Dr. Chen pursued additional education in pediatric dentistry. She completed a residency program at Montefiore Medical Center in New York City, where she gained expertise in working with children of all ages and varying dental and medical complexities. She remains committed to staying updated with the latest research in pediatric dentistry. Aside from her professional endeavors, Dr. Chen is fluent in Chinese Mandarin and Japanese. She is a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a member of various professional organizations, including the Canadian Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Ontario Society of Pediatric Dentists, Ontario Dental Association, and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She is also a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. In her personal life, Dr. Chen is a mother of two boys. She enjoys spending time with her family, exploring Toronto's rich culture, and immersing herself in the natural beauty of the Greater Toronto Area.
