Dr. Chelsea Ko-Adams, a native of the Greater Toronto Area, fulfilled her dream of becoming an orthodontist after experiencing braces herself as a teenager. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree with Honours at the University of Toronto, Mississauga, before being accepted into the dental program at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry.
Dr. Ko-Adams excelled in dental school, graduating with honors and receiving recognition for her achievements in clinical and theoretical orthodontics. After three years of general practice dentistry in Orangeville, she returned to the University of Toronto to pursue specialized training and obtained her Master of Science degree in Orthodontics.
During her orthodontic training, Dr. Ko-Adams conducted research on the oral health of orthodontic patients, which was selected for presentation at the American Association of Orthodontics annual meeting. She also co-authored an article on impacted canines, published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Additionally, Dr. Ko-Adams served as a part-time instructor at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry, in the undergraduate orthodontic department.
As a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and an active member of various dental and orthodontic associations, Dr. Ko-Adams is dedicated to providing exceptional orthodontic care. She is passionate about helping patients achieve their best smiles and is eager to meet and assist you and your family in Vaughan.
